About the Author
My name is Matt Buecker and I am the electrical design tutor, founder and webmaster. I have been in the consulting engineering and design business since 1997. My discipline is electrical engineering but unlike a lot of people in this line of work I have a passion for teaching others. I know a lot about this subject and enjoy educating those who are novices and provide resources for those who are experienced. I have 14 years of experience designing and drafting a wide variety of commercial projects throughout the US. From small tenant improvements to high-riser office buildings, there's not much I haven't done. In fact, the risers, panel schedules and plans shown on this site are all from projects I have designed. 
I created this website because there is a severe lack of quality electrical engineering and design information and resources on the internet. There are thousands of websites with crumbs of electrical information and loads of advertisements. With this site you will find a wide range of information that spans the electrical discipline, all in one place. The best part for you is that it is all free. All downloads are free and there are no special passwords or areas where access is restricted by subscription. My hope is that the information on this site will have you telling a friend, who will tell a friend and so forth. In addition to this site, I also run an AutoCad site and a Revit site. I continue to add new material all the time to those sites so please visit to learn more about the tools that are used to draft and design electrical engineering.
